I am an artist working with oils and occasionally watercolour. All my work is inspired and indebted to the wild landscapes and inhabitants I have encountered, in person or in imagination. I am also a Neurology doctor, with an interest in health and social inequalities.
My art interweaves these areas of interest.
My art maps out the plight of nature due to the consequences of anthropogenic human activity. My art emphasises the healing capacity of nature both on the individual as well as in communities, and can be cyclical in nature. Art then becomes a collective endeavour that brings people together into community.
