“Softness of earth, transforms the hardness of earth” ~ Dao De Jing
There is a small oasis in the hospital courtyard that people easily overlook. These tulips persevere to listen to unseen sorrow that flows. If only more hospital windows could face into nature, how much it would benefit those who are ill and those in most need. If only tulips could be there to hold the hands of those who suffer, those who face the hardness of what is to be faced, that which cannot be mechanically solved but to simply allow the softness of what is longed for and loved.
